ACNM MA Affiliate Lecture Series: Considerations of Health Equity in Breastfeeding

The Massachusetts ACNM Affiliate has developed a lecture series with nationally recognized midwifery experts to reach MA midwives, nurse-practitioners, and physician assistants working in women’s health. 

This series will cover topics such as: 

  • Pregnancy-related hypertension

  • Supporting students and new graduates of all backgrounds

  • Breastfeeding and health equity

  • Best practices in menopause care

  • Suturing tips for the experienced midwife

  • Optimizing induction care before admission

The first lecture will be held virtually on June 11th, 2026 at 7PM by Emily Swisher-Rosa, NM, WHNP, IBCLC on the “Considerations of Health Equity in Breastfeeding”

Breech without Borders - Breech Training

Breech Without Borders is hosting a vaginal breech training package on April 15th, 2026 at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA.

The vaginal breech training package has three parts:

  1. A full day of hands-on training with a BWB instructor. This includes 4 hours of simulation training, 1 hour of demonstrations and Q&A, and 4 hours of small group self-directed activities (breech birth video analysis and clinical scenarios). 

  2. Breech Pro Plus, an online vaginal breech training course (access for 1 year)

  3. 1 year of twice-monthly Live Sessions (recordings also available) for ongoing mentorship and learning
