Caring for the Caregiver Mini-grants

Caring for the Caregiver Mini-grants

At the core of the BEE Collaborative project is the understanding that a more supported and less burnt out workforce is key to achieving high quality equitable maternal and newborn healthcare. The Caring for the Caregiver Mini-Grant Program supports reproductive/perinatal health workers in Massachusetts who have ideas for addressing racial injustice and provider burnout in their workplaces. The purpose of the Caring for the Caregiver Mini-Grant is to fund low cost, immediate needs, pilot, or start-up initiatives for the workforce and their practice environments.

Funds are available in mini-grants up to $5,000.

  • Applicants must be:

    • A member of the reproductive/perinatal health workforce (midwife, doula, CLC, IBCLC, L&D nurse, etc.)

    • Currently practicing in Massachusetts

  • All submissions must be emailed as a PDF to Claire Gonzalez (gonzacli@bc.edu) and Kate Mitchell Balla (mitchka@bc.edu) by June 20th 2025. Please also direct any questions to Claire and Kate.
